Easter Activities Perfect For Children

Once your au pair agency has matched you up with the perfect family in the UK, it won’t be long before the school holidays come along and you’ll be needing to think up ideas to keep the kids entertained. The capital has some great theatres, which host some of the best shows from around the world and lots of options for all the family to enjoy. If you’re looking for a budget friendly show then be sure to head over to London’s Shakespeare Globe Theatre for their latest offering of The Little Matchgirl and Other Happier Tales. Tickets are great value, priced at just £10.

Another low cost activity and one that is a must at Easter – an egg hunt! Most popular this year (and for only £3 another bargain), The National trust are putting on hunts at beautiful locations such as Morden Hall Park and The Fenton House and Garden.

Not all museums always seem totally child-friendly, but if you want to go beyond the obvious child-friendly ones, look for special exhibitions which kids will enjoy. The V&A Museum currently has an exhibition dedicated to Disney classic Winnie the Pooh and The Horniman Museum and Gardens have a great Easter experience dance lessons, storytelling and face painting.

You can go wrong with a trip to the zoo and London has one of the oldest in the country, the kids will find all their favourite animals here from lemurs to lions and goats to gorillas.
