Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Announce Baby News
Rumours have been circulating about when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would announce they are expecting since they tied the knot in May.
Now, just five months after their wedding, the newlyweds have revealed they are having a baby.
Kensington Palace released the news earlier today (October 15th), issuing a press statement that said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be expecting the pitter-patter of tiny feet next spring.
It stated: “Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from the people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
The couple have escaped the excitement of the British public and press as they have just embarked on their first major international tour together, landing in Sydney earlier this morning.
Of course, eagle eyed royal fans had their suspicions there could be a reason to celebrate after the former actress turned up at Princess Eugine’s wedding on Friday in a non-fitted dress and coat.
The pair seemed to be more in love than ever at the ceremony, with Prince Harry spotted dutifully rubbing his bride’s back at Windsor Castle and regularly holding hands with his new wife.
It remains to be seen whether the 37-year-old and her husband will choose to have a nanny to help with childcare once the baby is born.
However, if they follow in the footsteps of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who have full-time nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo to help with their three children, it is likely they will.
